PMDL Architecture + Design
To celebrate a decade of PMDL Architecture + Design’s presence in Hong Kong, I led the design and creative direction of a full branded experience—from invitation to event. As the firm’s newly hired in-house designer, I was tasked with creating a full visual identity system for the anniversary celebration, which included digital invitations, printed materials, branded merchandise, and immersive event visuals.
I initiated the project by sketching and presenting animation concepts for the digital “Save the Date” and email invitation, which I later executed in After Effects using brand-aligned visuals and motion. For the event itself, I designed a commemorative book highlighting the firm’s major projects and milestones—handling layout, typography, and production. I also designed custom tote bags, gallery title cards, and a projection-mapped video showcasing the firm's design legacy through imagery and animated graphics.
In addition to the creative execution, I co-managed event planning—scouting venues, coordinating with vendors, budgeting for merchandise, and helping organize the physical layout of the celebration. The final result was a cohesive, meaningful visual experience that brought PMDL’s Hong Kong story to life. The event was a success, with strong client turnout and praise from firm partners for both the design execution and overall atmosphere.
